Esquina Carlos Gardel

It is curious to think that a myth as strong as Carlos Gardel occurred in the twentieth century. Still there are friends that frequented him and witnessed his artistic life. Still in Buenos Aires it can be indicated the house where lived and the theaters where he sang. Nevertheless it appears to be that Gardel is so eternal and comes from so far away, that without him the history of Buenos Aires is conceived... In the corner of the cut street was baptized Carlos Gardel in his homage and the Anchorena street , where today it is summoned the statue that immortalizes him, a restaurant existed which sheltered among its walls to the picturesque characters of the market: "The Chanta Cuatro".
A Mute witness of an unique history where Carlitos Gardel used to meet his friends and cronies to have dinner, to stay up late at night , to sing or simply, to dawn.
