World championship of tango

During nine days, the natural physiognomy of Buenos Aires , will be seen transformed with the organization of concerts, thematic classes, workshops and exhibitions related to the Tango.

People over 18 years can take part in it. The inscription is without charge.

The tournament is divided into two categories: Tango Parlor and Tango Scenery, and both categories have the same objective: to call professionals and fans to compete and to show their dexterities, the better dancers of the world are arriving in Buenos Aires . The participating couples will dance representing to their city of origin.

Likewise of the 300 couples that initiate the Championship, 150 will be chosen to pass to the semi-final stages, remaining only 15 couples to compete for the great prize, that besides involves the honor of being the "World Champions of Tango".
