Modern medical scrubs are a far cry from their old counterparts. Several of them look like they’ve come straight out of fashion magazines; which, of course, some of them did. It’s unimaginable to see them displayed prominently on the front areas of big department stores. They use to belong to the outback’s of big supermarkets and clothing stores if they ever were ever available, which often they aren’t. There are fashion shows which feature nothing but medical scrubs, uniforms, gowns, and other apparels that medical practitioners and personnel use every day.
Our doctors and nurses deserve to look presentable in their uniforms, not looking like clothes hangers or racks; shapeless and unflattering. The misconception is that the looser the uniform the more comfortable they are. But there’s nothing further from the truth. A perfectly fitting scrub suit is not only a beautiful sight to behold but also more convenient to use giving the user more freedom of movement.
